the engine keeps cutting out whilst driving, other members suggested the crank sensor, done a pedal test today and came up with code 0155, can you shed any light please, thanks, kevin

Sorry, ignore me, its the drugs for the manflu.

Cranksensors frequently fail, of course. I thought you said cam sensor. As said, ignore me ;D

When it dies, does it just cut, and does it do it at cruising revs, or is it only at idle? Does it hunt before dying?

I am curious about the 0155 code.

The O2/Oxygen/Lambda sensors have to be kept hot to measure the amount of oxgyen in the exhaust gases. When the engine is cold the fueling runs 'open loop' and the Lambda sensor reading is ignored. When the engine is hot, and under load, the exhaust gases probably keep the Lambda sensors hot enough to work properly.

I am wondering if the Lambda sensors are giving incorrect readings when the engine is hot, but lightly loaded.

If it wasn't for the 0155 code I would wholeheartedly agree that it was crank sensor but now I am not so sure :-/
