Corsa scuttle drain?
« on: 26 October 2011, 11:58:31 »

Family member with an approx five year old RHD Corsa with wet drivers footwell. I have suggested blocked scuttle drain as no smell of coolant from say a leaking heater matrix.

The elderly owner has had a look and says "there isn't one, rain just goes off the windscreen into the engine compartment".

Any suggestions please?

Is there a sunroof? They often have drains down either the A or B pillar (no idea when it comes to the Corsa specifically, though)

Tell him to look again, lift the black plastic bits in-board of the screen wash reservoir, and while he is there he can check the brake fluid as he has obviously never been in there before.

I cant remember where the drain is but it blocked on my daughters Corsa C and skin was lost in clearing it.
