deranged or deluded eBayer?
« on: 14 February 2012, 22:32:06 »

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-OMEGA-2-2Dti-CDX-2003-Silver-PRISTINE-Diesel-/290669553342?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item43ad4166be#ht_1611wt_1185

Why do some sellers quote the price their car was new? The fact it was £26k new, or had £2800 of 'extras' fitted at the time has no relevance now.
Oh well! Good luck on their sale!  ::) ::) ::) ::)

This car is worth the money to someone wanting such a thing. I don't think the seller is deluded... just trying to write a catching ad...

Sadly the 4 pot is not for me, regardless of how it's dressed up... and it's also too nice for me to be lugging tools and crap around in it... but thanks for the thought! :y

Looks a tidy example and, with patience, someone may come along who's willing to pay that price.

As I said on another thread, my estate would go if someone offered the right money. The fact that it's a Roger Budden price doesn't come into it. That's what it's worth to me :y

Good luck to the seller... I hope they have it advertised elsewhere as well as eBay isn't the place to sell cars ;)

Indeed, if someone was to offer £5k for TBE 2 weeks ago, it may have secured it. Currently, I need the car - damn nuisance being a car down ;D

If I was looking at the moment I would consider that, if it is as nice as it looks....I was looking at Roger Budden's site last week.
