i have a huge hole where a vauxhall head unit would of once sat.  i bought the car without one.  does anyone have a original vauxhall cd player with code they wish to part with, or could someone advice me where i can pick one up quite cheap.

i have a 3litre v6 estste  (MV6)  w reg, so whats that  2000 i think.

Facelift? If so, double din, so you're looking at the CDR2005 signle cd player, or CDR2006 cassette player with 4 disc multichanger.  Neither sound that great, but do the job.

If you have a very late prefacelift, single din, so CDR500, CCR600 with external multichanger, or ccrt700 if thats what your car is wired as.


If its ex-plod, the wiring may be severely buggered with.


Obviously, you can also go for non standard fit items.

it is double din size.  i know they are not all that good.  but want to be able to use the snazzy buttons on the steering wheel.  i have just taken a photo of my car  but cant think how to get the picture to show up

Most quality brands have steering wheel adapters for their brands (though often not their budget ranges)
