So I have a broken rear spring - VX are £110 each, any suggestions for quality aftermarket ones?
Euro Car Parts start at £27ish - worth bothering with?
Normally I wouldn't be SO bothered but I have an MOT, Service and Cambelt to pay and the combined cost is nearly a grand with the springs and a shot rear semi trailing arm bush to replace >:(

110 per spring has to be retail, thimk a lot on here use kyb or blisten, must be cheaper on trade card, surely someone along soon with 'proper' prices :y
-
that is what indep. is charging me.
Euro CP only have kyb for estate.
I have gone round the idea of doing bilstein / eibach but then I have the cost of getting the fronts fitted and really to make the most it needs new shox as mine have 82k on them. Can't jusify the £600+ at the mo.

try http://www.buypartsby.co.uk

i use euro very often and find there the best place to go for aftermarket parts
-
got mine from GT and they were only around the £30 mark, easy to fit and worked well esp with towing!!
-
KYB from buyPartsby. Excellent prices.
KYB catalogue here http://www.kyb-europe.com/catalogue.asp
A lot of the items you mention can be done quite easily yourself for a fraction of garage prices.
-
Beware if you have self levelling suspension they have different springs to normal suspension.
-
I went for my indep.'s recommended pattern part (non height adj.) as he could get them immediately and I need the car back on the road asap.
-
All sorted and indep used KYB at about £35+vat each.
Feels good now with new rear bushes.
Only issue now is that shox are soft and will soon need doing so considering Billie B4's and do the front the same as well.

Give Daz a shout IMO.
Kyb for yours, stock springs still a bit steep on tc. Would not go cheeper than kzb personally.
