Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Poor headlights, 2001 2.2DTI
« on: 13 November 2018, 16:23:42 »
Hi! The projector headlights with H1 bulbs are "leaving me in the dark". I measured a 0,4V voltage drop on those H1-s. Also the back of the bulb gets so hot, that it fries the connector and its plastic cover. Same story on both sides. Could someone please help me with a wiring diagram , so i could get to the bottom of this?  :-\

When i bought my Omega a few years back, the reverse lights didŽnt always come on when they were supposed to, here`s how i solved it.During the summer, the lights came on with a small delay, maybe a second,in the winter however it took a while longer.Did the usual ofcourse, checked the fuse and replaced the switch. All the same.So i grinded my headgears a bit and figured out what was the problem. It was the aluminum washer between the gearbox and the switch,it was too thin for some reason.Switch just sat too deep in the gearbox. I replaced the washer with a 0,5mm thicker copper washer and all was ok.Hope it was helpful.  :)

Omega General Help / 2.2 DTI injection pump VP44
« on: 06 January 2015, 16:46:23 »
Hi!  I have bit of a problem, iŽv been "limping" around with my omega for a few days now. The lilŽyellow light is on and iŽm the slowest man on the road. Diagnostic device gave me a faultcode  : P1631-00A. About P1631 Autodata says this: Fuel injection pump control module defective, wiring open circuit/ short to positive.  What could the 00A part of the code mean ? If anyone has a word of advice, dont hold yourself back.  :)
