Just a public thanks to Ronnie McB for managing to get my some parts I needed today (if today hadn'y go so Pete Tong). Despite being obviously busy, he managed to get bits of the car and posted to me so I received today, and managed to spare some time to chat about fixing MID.

As some of you may have guessed, I've jumped on the bandwagon and bought a project car. I won't mention how much it cost, but was sold with 'headgasket failure'.
Many thanks to Tunnie for giving up his Sunday evening to help me pick it up. Thanks to Ronnie McB as well for his advice [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Looks like it may be an oil cooler, as no sign of water in oil, and can't smell exhaust in coolant bottle. Shit loads of oil in the coolant though. Also has a coolant leak, which I've now located to the pipe between the hbv and where it the coolant enters the block. Bet the dealers won't stock that!
Gotta wait until Wednesday to get replacement cooler, so hopefully can look at a couple of electrical niggles tomorrow.

Someone bought a car on ebay.

Now he's selling it on ebay using the same photos description etc but with a tiny difference – check the mileage – he must have been reversing a lot !!!

Well, today, me and Omegas aren't seeing eye to eye 
Tunnie brought his 2.2 round for an oil change, but we couldn't get sump plug out. We decided not to force it off until we had a new one. So thats been put off until next week.
Bobf brought his 2.5 around - been having an ongoing issue with speedo (now fixed), ABS and TC. Current prob is ABS and TC lights are on. Plugged in Tech2, and please to see a DTC stored (OSF sensor). Cleared the code, hoping that would clear the lights, but no. OK, do a actuator test, and manually control the telltales. ECU says they are off, but they are on. ECU shagged I suspect
I was going to do my fuel filter today, but with the 'midas touch' I have today, I think I'll put it off....
