new PC is zippytastic
« on: 19 June 2007, 21:07:20 »

Built my new PC when my bits finally arrived today. Used both the old hard drives as one is almost new, plus the perfect DVD writer and CD writer. Otherwise:

New case (cheap)
ECS P4M800PRO-M2 motherboard
Intel P4 HT 3.0ghz with 2mb cashback
Kingston 1Gb 533 Ram
microsoft wireless ergonomic keyboard
Microsdot wireless intellimouse

Whole lot came to...... £155

Hows about that then. :y

P4 a bit old hat now :p

Seriously though, unless you have specific requirements, that will cope with everything you throw at it (except Vista ;)), including most Photoshop type stuff that I know Ronnie jnr may use it for :)

Ronnie Jnr has his own PC's. He doesn't touch mine!!!!! I have upgraded from an old AND 1400 (supposed to be 2Gig) and there is simply no comparison.

Looking to change back to my old profession later this year. Driving instruction isb taking it out on my back a bit.  Not one of you will guess what that profession is.
