My Audi holds 17 litres, I just wait for the 1500 mile warning to pop up and then I shove 10 litres in.

Mines a bit of a glug, glug glugger to get in so it pisses me off doing it. I did consider stabbing a hole in the base of the container to let more air in but then it would probably piss back out all over my car.  ;D

Has the tank got a level plug or line as a visual? But, knowing French cars ,it's probably buried in the depths of the engine bay, far removed from daylight.  :)

I've yet to see any kind of warning on my Merc for Adblue ..... I've done around 30k & have only ever put a gallon in as & when-ever. I once, unintentionally brimmed it.

Could that be as simple as needing a DEF refill :-\

They get a bit sensitive to low levels if you ignore the warnings.

General consensus is most DEF equipped road cars use about a litres of the shite for every 500-600 miles.  Guessing your ML isn't quite as economical on the lorry juice as most cars, so not sure if it uses a bit more DEF.

Her car has a tiny pigs piss tank - 9l I think - so gets half a Screwfix/Toolstation (whichever is cheapest on the day) 10l can as soon as it starts moaning,

I deliberately chose my car because it doesn't have DPF or piss tank.

Will pay the price for that if Captain Underpants gets his way extending the ULEZ to include Heathrow  :-X
