Finished cleaning the carpets and started scrubbing and treating the seats. Front seats and all the heater ducting tomorrow, then dash out, assuming I can get a replacement... Got holes in it for a starter switch  ::)

Once that's out, I can start refitting the interior along with the bits to make it work again... Or not :D

I think I'd be doing the bits that make it work again first ::)

I will when they arrive.  :P

If they don't work, I have my eye on an alternative with the same trim colour, so not a waste... Failing that I either break it or wait for work and Mercedes to reopen and fix it with new bits or buy something else ;)

Still have the steering wheel ;)

I think I will keep all the aircon gubbins though... I have new pollen and charcoal filters to replace the historically absent ones, so hopefully the climate gubbins will actually achieve something  ;D

Washed the front end of the Range Rover off, I took some food over to our old next door neighbour last night as she can't get out and as the RR has not been used for a while came back along the bypass to blow the cobwebs away, it was totally covered in flies/insects , one warm day & they appear from nowhere..😎

Electricity in TBE today.  Seemed to take a fair amount, so dunno if the batt is getting tired.  It came off the superior Silver Bullet, cant remember how long it was on there for.

All four genuine brand new filters delivered to my door for less than £50. The pollen ones are £18 on offer and the charcoal ones are nearer £50 each. So I call that a win, especially as they were as advertised and they arrived in spite of buying them on ebay. Which will frustrate Jammie... Also a win :D

Project car - Omega CD estate, battery connected and started engine for first time in 3 months, ran it up and down the driveway and parked it up on the ramps ready for doing handbrake cable sometime soon.

Whilst waiting for it to run up to temperature, checked all other functions, lights, wipers, washers, etc, and found radio working without having to put in the code!

Charged it again today, after the silly mare left 2 of the doors open all evening/night/morning.  Good job it didn't rain.

Put it all back together...

https://photos.app.goo.gl/Qw9QZr9zK3z9dVzi8

Well, except for the two screws holding the ashtray in... Can't fit those until TB has finished with the electric so I can get the battery charged... (two electronic locks on the shifter... Sigh ::))...

At which point, I will find out if it's fixed :-X
