Crank sensor will cause more severe symptoms (ie car won't start!).

Is this correct LB? I assumed as my 2.2 will start with crank sensor disconnected that other facelifts (2.6 or 3.2) will start as well. Or is this not the case?  :-/

Perhaps the ever helpful MJ will pop outside and try it on his 2.6......come on MJ its only -2C outside at the mo  ;D
All v6 die with no crank sensor....

Ahh rite TB, thats clarified that for me  :y Good job ive a got a 2.2 then   ;)
I'm still don't believe my eyes with yours....  :-/

Well you saw it with your own eyes and your tech2 confirmed id unplugged the correct cable....it complained of crank sensor prob......these 2.2's  ;D

Edit* Perhaps try it on AA's when you see his next to see if mines a one off  :-/
I'll try it on Tunnie's when he's not looking. Sssshhh, don't tell him....

Yes....thats a better idea.....Tunnie wont tell you off for leaving a fingerprint in the engine bay  ;D

You could always tell Tunnie you upgrading the ecu so that it gives 350bhp out of the engine whilst achieving 50mpg and getting 100k miles out of the tyres  ;)
