was full autoclosure not standard then?

do your windows "one-touch" close by their own buttons in the car?

mine all autoclose correctly

Program the Windows as well (ie, so they open and close fully with a single press of the window switch), then they will close like sunroof.

my windows close on one-touch from inside if i press them but i got on remote 2 buttons one with green light for opening the car and one with red light for closing. but if i let my sun roof open i can close and only close it not open with button for locking the car by holding it and waiting to be closed, cant do it by simply pres once method on remote. so im wondering is ther a way to program wia tech 2 or some other way in opel store or at home windows as well cause this come in handy sometimes.

If the one touch thing works inside the car, it should work from remote (press and hold), unless Opels are different to our Vauxhalls.

Does it work if you lock the car with key, but hold key in locked position?

When I fitted my new Car Battery, the autoclose wouldnt work with the deadlock pressed on the fob, neither would the sunroof.

Once I reset the windows, all worked fine, roof included. :y

no, only on sunroof as i wrote above. by one touch you mean if i just press the window button and not hold it. i dont have button for closing all windows at once i have to press all 4 windows to close it and that function is working even if i pull the key out and than close window, and sunroof cant manipulate without key on.

I'd reset the windows anyway to see if there is any difference.  Push and hold the window up button in the car for 5 seconds.  Then press down.  Repeat for all electric windows then try the fob.  Other possibility is the battery in the fob could be low.

Correct.

Have you tried with key in lock as I mentioned above?

Closing all windows at once is done when you deadlock the car.

Either lock the door with the key at 45Deg and then turn to 90 Deg and that deadlocks the car and whilst you hold the key in that possition the windows will close if they have been reset.

or

Lock with the remote fob and then press and hold the lock button again untill the windows have gone up.

Both methods should shut the sunroof.

I would think it to be really unusual for you to have autolock on the sunroof but not the windows - must be something obvious!

deadlock is what happens when you press the lock button to lock it, then when you press it again you hear it lock again, which means its now deadlocked

stops the locks being "popped" up, for example, by a theif using a coat hanger down your door!
