Amazon Prime  :-X

Cancelled it when the monthly fee came up.

Moved back to buying from Ebay  :y

A while ago I found an item on Amazon that was cheaper, Went yo buy it and Amazon Prime free for 30 days pops up.  Bought the item then after 29 days cancelled Prime.

Today Amazon had the better deal on an item I required. . . . yes up pops Amazon Prime again.  :-X

Coming back from shopping got held up for 15 mins due to some dick parking a large van on double yellows just on the sharp 90 deg bend coming out of town. Problem was 2 very large artics were trying to come round the corner and only just made it. Streets are so narrow what the hell where they doing coming this way in the first place, no doubt sat nag--------

Covid must have done them a massive favour, not only during lockdown when people had to shop around online, but the No Signature policy meant that the delivery driver could put your parcel on the doorstep, take a photo and knock on the door as he/she ran back to their van. By the time you get to the door, assuming you are actually at home, they have disappeared and delivered another three parcels. It must have speeded up their process no end.  :)

I nearly had a punch up once with a pikey who knocked on my door and tried to sell me a new driveway (1/2 inch tarmac skim) when he wouldn't take my polite 'No thanks mate' for an answer...  ::)  >:(
