I'd avoid egay, and use autotrader (eith mag or online or both).  Better price, and more likely not to get time wasters. Ignore the callers saying they have a buyer for your car for £100 fee.


If you have a couple of big mates, ask them round when payment happens, and get them to follow you down the bank. Ensure the buyer knows you are straight off to bank, just so they aren't tempted to come back with baseball bats.
