Yodel. I accept delivering to Brackley is hard for many couriers for reasons I can't grasp, but after a week of it not moving from their national hub, accept you've lost it, or give some kind of guess. Not just "it will arrive when it will arrive".

The seller is also gonna get shitty feedback for being so stupid to use Yodel.

Evri - formerly know as Hermes, got an email from their Airdrie depot that the donut bushes I'd ordered had "been damaged beyond repair" how the heck did they do that? I think you could drop them from a high rise and they'd just bounce!
Were they asking for a confirmed address? If so, that's a well known scam that is doing the rounds, and seems to mostly pretend its Evri.

Omega - changed oil, oil filter and air filter. Olld air filter looked almost new but changed it anyway.
Refitted the engine undertray which has sat behind the shed for a couple of years.
Got a new heater matrix here, which will be the next job on it. Then need to find the annoying knock / rattle from somewhere underneath thats been driving me mad for a couple of years.
Front suspension components all seem fine, so will have a look further back and hopefully find something.  ::)

It really does look much better, but BMW are not about to fit them as standard. That would be an extra £10,000.

BMW M2 is roughly £15000 more than the M240. I suppose BMW want to differentiate between the poverty spec M240i M-Lite and the full fat M car.

Personally I can't see £15000 worth of difference between the two. :)

This is the bit of bent tin that came off. Quite large being about 12 inches across.

I've started taking a 20 something attitude towards couriers. If I go out, I leave a note on the door telling them to stick it in the shed. If I don't receive the parcel, I claim a refund, they don't like it but I have plenty of time on my hands to torment them.
Life's too short.

Flushed Astra A16XER with FORTE (put to engine oil) 20 minutes 2500 rpm. Then changed oil and filter. Next Itake away VVT solenoids for cleaning and checking, I heatd this might help for poor acceleration if VVT is not "active" due to e.g. bad maintenance, let's see what I find.
