I cant believe it either. A bit of a hero of mine for many years. An incredible player. About 15 years ago I stood 3 feet from him in a tiny venue, mesmerised by his skill for two short hours.
He came from Dundonald, East Belfast, as do I. He was left handed but played guitar right handed, as do I. He was a hugely gifted musician - and unfortunately for me thats where the similarities end.

That was the sixties. In the 70's I decided I preferred Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, etc.

That was, and still is my choice of music.  Led Zep is now the ones I play most via Alexa! 8) 8) ;D ;D :y

I loved the Supremes in the sixties though, and RIP Mary Wilson :'( :'( :'(

All these artists we danced to that are passing away remind me we all have not long to go, being in the final third of our lives! :o :o ;)

Where's that COVID jab? ;D ;D
