Update on the 'diesel weasel'
« on: 02 May 2008, 20:37:21 »

As some of you know I recently sold the Omega and bought a 306 Dturbo, and so far all is going pretty well. I have had a new exhaust fitted and am awaiting the arrival of a dual exit stainless back box, I also fitted new washer jets and washer pump seal (at the huge cost of £8.23!). Last night came the first top of diesel, I'd done 209 miles and to bring it back to a full tank took 20.02 litres.  So all in all I pretty pleased with it. As with the Omega it doesn't have an accelerator pedal, more of a grin pedal, the growel of the V6 has been replaced with pretty loud turbo whistle and a massive rush of aceleration. It really is a laugh to drive, I'd definitely reccomed one! Will get a pic of the exhaust when it arrives for opinions/insults, lol!
