Boost sensor (Map sensor) is located under the black plastic engine cover at the right rear as you look in the engine bay from the front.
1 allen key bolt and a 2 wire plug to remove.
!0 mins top's to get to it.

I've had this same prob since i bought the car.
Changed the Turbocharger Boost Pressure Solenoid located inder the fuel filter and it seem's to have sorted it!!
Used these guy's for the part and it was a genuine one they sent.

Bit of an update!!

Had a bod out to the car today with a Tech II.
Poked it for an hour or so and he kept getting p1590 code.
He seems to think it is an ecu fault in that there is an earth missing or a chip/joint/componant that has failed.
When he lifted the ecu out  he found a wire roughly connected from the ecu case to battery neg which he thinks is there to get around a fault on ther board.
He has suggested either repairing it if i can find someone or replaceing ecu/chip and pick up ring as a kit to see if that solves it.

anyone know of a good repairer or an ecu doing nothing??

Still not as cheap as GM 10/40 semi on TC. ;)

If you have a TC  :P

It doesn't really matter what you put in your omegas, it will still leak out.

No oil under it no oil in it!
