It's streath bolt so ones you grind head off you take tension of bolt
Simple as that
I find gas torch do job every time , new bolt only cost £6 from Gm

« on: 16 July 2017, 22:40:56 »2008 Ford Mondeo 2.2 TDCi Titanium Xwith out ramp you looking best part of the day to replace one of those bad boys ,
The 'Engine Malfunction' message comes and goes on the screen and yellow EML comes and goes with the message.
The car starts and drives fine, the engine runs smoothly with no excess smoke, but the message seems to flash up on the over-run.
There are no DTC's on the service screen, but I havn't read the codes with a code reader. Hopefully one will turn up in the post today.
For about 10 minutes after the ignition is turned on, but not the engine this happens every minute. Is this supposed to happen or is it clicking because it's stuck?
Hopefully if this is the case I might get away with cleaning it, or worst case replacing it.
The EGR is tucked down behind the engine and looks like a PITA to get at.
Thoughts Gentlemen?TIA!
we had one other week according to auto data 4 hours to replace

58 plate Corsa SXi A/C CDTi (66kW manual (not semi auto) ) , needs a new clutch, and may as well have the dual mass as well .... trying to find the right parts so i can buy them and have the local garage fit them.....
(their price for the parts is not far off vauxhall's ...(around £820) but I know damn well you can get an LUK kit for £400-500
