Bad bits :

Alarm power sounder currently disconnected, replacement internal battery needed.....looking into this  :D
Drivers-side rear door central locking failed - I have a few spare motor~thingys, but appears to be wiring fault.....looking into this too  :o

Conclusion :

Really smooth, powerful V6 engine, in excellent condition, having been really looked after. Luxurious car, very comfortable and eats up the miles.
Fabulous, very high spec and rare example of the Omega Elite. This model had virtually all options specified from new, with nice touches such as the mirror positions being stored with the drivers seat memory ! The colour display can be configured to show various trip computer functions, radio/CD playback details, graphical route instructions, full-screen map and so on.
Integrated SatNav is fed by CD (separate slot) and will accept newer versions - original CD supplied - and even includes junction zoom feature. Voice guidance automatically fades out the current audio source, then fades source back in once instruction complete - brilliant !
Load space is simply massive - notably ahead of cars such as the V70 and Saab 9-5. Split-fold rear seats increase this further.

Final point to mention is that this car meets the very tight timeline of being a true Facelift (late 2000) model and being pre-March 2001 car tax cutoff. This means exempt from scarier tax prices from cars registered March 2001 onwards.

<pictures to follow.....need to take some !.....happy to take on ad-hoc basis until then, or you can look at the lovely snowy one  on my profile  ::) >

Looking for £2,000 (offers, sensible ones !, will be considered).....I realise this is top-dollar, but feel that the car can achieve more or less this
