But if you attend a meet, not knowing a group of people who, in the main, already know each other, it might appear as being so. But you also have to make an effort to join in. At York, (maybe the 2nd meet) there were two groups that hardly moved from their tents, & then on the Monday complained here about not being shunned by the rest of us.

Was that the time I borrowed your mains cable as mine was to short? A perfect example of how helpful you were, to someone you had never met; the spirit of OOF.........

I arrived late at York, think several cars were brought in as lights so could pitch the tent 

I think I came with a mate, think it was only a night or two. But I remember there being a 'music tent' with tunes blasting out, but most of the 'traditional' OOF folk just wanted to sit around in chairs, drink large amounts beer, while having the occasional tinker with an engine, then have a BBQ. Which is what I think the meets should be about 

If time is on our side, try and gaffer tape a fat admin in a porta-loo. Sadly that was only achieved at one meet

Thing is Jaime the same people always go to these meets,  or at least did. I do believe however if you as an adminteam had sortes it out properly and fairly those people would still be attending. Byron for instance took up the job of organising and then told me that it was virtually a joke.

Not wanting to fall out with you mate.....but you didn't attend last year and have no intention of attending this year....as I read it.....so why use a big wooden spoon....just ignore the thread or pm admin if unhappy
