Had to go over to my friends and find out why the engine fan was not working after I redid some of the bodged wiring on his hot rod, must have been one off the links onto links onto links I removed. New feed and it works, also had to find an ign feed to rev counter. Cant wait to do the job correctly with new fuse/relay box and bin the bad jumble of links.

Looks like Thursday is old farts driving day out, for effs sake 35 in a 60 on a clear road. Then the road ruiners have filled a layby with gravel to wreck some side roads (same ones they ruined last year by the look of it) and have temp traffic lights so they can load wagons. 20mph and loose gravel signs on the main road so of course the old farts are slowing down even though the side roads have not been tared.

Got a battery for the Austin, checked out some eleccy stuff. EML flashing as not got a chip yet, mechanical problem with the wipers and might have to take the dash back out to get to it.

Fitted the squib to the Austin, found a plug in the box off old Omega wiring but it had one to many terminals to plug in the back. Bit of snipage and it fitted. Next problem was the wheel adaptor had to be machined down to fit the centre turning bit,40 grit flap disc in the angle grinder works! Waiting for a horn push to finish the job.

Because the chemist in town is about 2ft closer to my flat than the pharmacy at the docs I have to ask the chemist to ring the docs for them to okay the meds as they wont do them on repeat ,when a doc has got round to looking at the request they then send a prescription to the chemist who then has to get it ordered. Took over 2 weeks quite a few times, daft thing is I am on these meds till I turn my toes up but the cant put them on repeat----------

Well I ordered some ducting hose for the Austin of the bay Wednesday afternoon and it came the next day, Erivi as well. What pissed me of was I ripped the back of my hand fitting it on the pointy end of a selftapper sticking through the bulkhead /fire wall .
