NHS Parking Ticket
« on: 28 August 2012, 14:26:06 »

Got a parking ticket from the hospital this morning, anyway I've got a parking ticket for parked over two bays. It's from East Kent NHS trust, do I have to pay this, or is it one of these typical tickets like McDonald's.

Who is the ticket from? The hospital itself or a "parking solutions" company.  I got one from an overstay in Morrisons. Never paid it, can't be enforced.

we're you in your hummer or something ;D ;D

don't pay it they charge you enough to park anyway, probably some jobsworth warden with nothing better to do. did the parking signs say if you don't park properly you'll get a ticket?

I try to park the M3 in one bay like a normal driver but as soon as I get out the car jumps across two spaces. I swear, it does it by itself... ;) ;D

Nice thing about having a car worth 3 figures, I always want to squeeze the bugger in next to a badly parked 40k motor  ;D

The front wheel of the car was just on/just over the line, I wasn't really thinking about parking, I was in a rush to see the little bubba   ;D.

I once got the Discovery within an inch of a BMW parked over the line, he cant really do any damage as its got huge bumpers and rocksliders on the cills.
he must have got in the passenger side, there was loads of room that side ;D

The tickets issued at my hospital are very real and must be paid! The signs at the entrance of the hospital say that you will abide by the rules and regulations.... They write the ticket then send it off to some place in southampton, I thought I would ignore it until a £250 bill turned up in the post  :-[
