hi all, I need your help! I'm planning on putting a 1996 3l engine and manual gearbox and assorted parts, plenum, clutch, diff, pedals etc into a 2000 pre face lift auto mv6. can anyone tell me if putting a 2000 manual mv6 ecu would work? many thanks

hi, I'm planning to put a manual engine and gearbox in an auto mv6. the donor car is a 96 3l elite, this is the thing I'm struggling to get an answer for and any help would be great.......would the ecu off a say 2000 manual mv6 ecu work on the engine? going to change the plenum and any other bits that a different too. many thanks hoping to be back in a manual mv6 again soon xD
