Ir you have GM rubbers on there, don't slice them - remove and reuse - much better than those that come with the cheap replacement exhausts (which are otherwise excellent) and crack in short order.

I may get one more, have 3 but never a 3.2 which I fancy  :y

Yes many!

To do these properly, especially with a known problem, BOTH sumps must come off, to check if the thrust washer has failed, (bits in the front sump if so), if the latter, the box must come off to replace the washer. :y

Removing the box, changing the trust washer and changing solenoids is very doable DIY. I did all of those on the drive with help from here and been great ever since.

If the original mounting rubbers are GM and are good condition then re-use them rather than using the ones that come with the ETS kit as they will be stretched and splitting around 18 months - 2 years.

That's not my experience; mine have been on there three years(might be four :o ) with no problems. I HATE messing about with exhausts, and my procedure is simple: replace everything, at the same time, with new.

Must be variable Nick, my new ETS rubbers disintegrated in short order so I popped the 10 year old GM's back on.

A friend of mine has two rental flats which are on lifetime trackers at 0.5% over base.

Funnily enough the building society contact him pretty regularly to see if he would like to change his product!  ;D

0.25% over base here - Barclays have tried ever trick to get me to move!

That will partly be the VAT then.

Check to terms some retailers only pay on the ex vat amount.

Yes you are right.  £65.83 is ex vat.  :(    Even so 9.45% of £65.83 ain't £1.38 though!  :o  >:(

I'll let you know what the outcome is in a few months when and if they get back to me.....  ::)

Hence why I said partly - rate is wrong too! Fingers crossed they sort it for you.

I'm going away for a few days next week and booked my airport parking via TopCashback.

I paid £78.99 for the parking and expected 9.45% cashback so £7.46.  However when I checked my TopCashback account it showed I'd paid £65.83 and the cashback was £1.38!  >:(

I put in a complaint to TopCashback and have had a reply that they will take it up with the retailer but it might take a few months to sort out!  :-\  ::)

Anyone come across this before?  ???

Although using only 50-75 kg "noseweight" three person in car - one in the rear seat - and something in the boot the riding height in rear reduces a lot. Rear springs are pretty new and a bit stronger than original, shock absorbers are new original gas pressure ones but not adjustable. Car is 2001 Saloon Elegance with V6.

What would be the best way to get adjustable riding height to the rear axle? Found some solutions inside springs or adjustable air pressure absorbers but would like to hear experience/recommendation to solve the problem. Perhaps stronger springs are not more comfortable when driving alone without extra load.

Change the springs to some that give you the height you want - my Saloon with tow bar does and it works very well.

Correct, v8 is the last for GS8211 ECU :(.  It never got the extra refinements that the GS820 got for smoother changes and better change points.

At least you know you are on the best available for the 3.2 auto

Which Omegas has the GS820?
