Can anyone help? My radio goes "scratchy" when I switch my heated rear window on. Ok when not using the Window heater though.
Thanks.

Omega General Help / Losing ATF, but where?
« on: 27 April 2010, 18:07:57 »
Hi guys, (oops!! and girls).
Haven't been on for a while but have a wierd problem with my mig. Twice this year I've had to top up the ATF in the auto gearbox, both occasions taking close on 5 litres. No leaks anywhere, driveway is bone dry, under the car is dry. Topped up with engine running and on a flat surface, mates garage ramp. Has anyone any idea where the fluid could be going? Even a local autobox specialist is baffled.
Cheers all,
Steve  :y

Acting as if battery is flat, but battery is ok? Very slow turning over as if it's a flat battery, lights don't dim, could it be starter motor or a bad connection? / Earth?  :( :'(

Can anyone give me advice on changing glow plugs, i.e. easiest way. Is it best to take off the inlet manifold?
Thanks,

Hi guys, haven't been on here for a while, so so sorry I've got to sell my Omega. I need the room and to be honest she's a bit expensive to run alongside my Rolls, I've got a diesel Corsa now to run around in. The mig is in real good nick, 91k, mot till July, no tax, towbar and twin electrics. I can get £300 scrap but that would be a crying shame, so any one interested for the same price can have it.
The bad points:
Will need new wishbones (bushes) on front (advisory on last mot) and a service. A couple of oher niggly little things like ashtray not working right, and driver's door mirror electrics not working.
I'm away from saturday teatime till tuesday night, so message me and I'll get to you when I can.
Again, would be a REAL shame to scrap it.
I'm in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton.
Cheers guys, oops, and gals.
