Common problems on a 3.2 are:

Worn wishbone bushes (excessive play)
cam cover gaskets failed
knackered precats

All are easy fixes, and relatively cheap if you are handy with spanners.

Ensure all warning lights work, and do a "Pedal Trick"

Hi everyone, thanks for the welcome and the advice.

Yip, I brought her home with me, she has a couple of minor faults which are fixable so I'm happy. Looking forward to doing some work on it and cleaning it up, first up will be a good service.

I've been reading the forum and need a couple of things cleared up please, I've read mention of Omega B and I think it was Omega B2, what is the difference? Also I've seen "facelift" mentioned a few times, what does that mean?

Nevermind, I found the answer I think. According to this thread - http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90440.0 I have an Omega B Facelift because it is a 2001 model with the window switches on the drivers door. :)

p.s. How much longer before I can stop entering the image verification thing?
