Everywhere else is about £50 more expensive, Kwikfit January sale seems good.
I have a printout valid for 7 Days, but will stick to Jan in case.

Never had a car with such wide tyres before.
I know all larger wheels do it to a degree, but tyre choice does seem to emphasise it more.
The tyres on it now are quite bad, and down to <3mm tread so below 'the comfort zone' anyway.

Looking at getting 4 of these on the MV6 next week, unbeleiveably the best quote I can find is kwik-fit at £441 (for 235 45 17 Y's).

Anyone had any good / bad experience of these before I shell out?

Esp interested in tramlining, which my current suffer badly.

not got a halfords trade card?

If needs be I could be in Halfords by Sainsburys on Monday, away most the weekend.
bout £39 then I think

Yep, I've got a Halfords TC. Didn't think the discount would be much though, as it only knocked a fiver off my toolkit.

Thats cos it was on sale, 150 piece one i presume?
only small discount then

Its amazing the amount of cars (or drivers) that cant cope well with that hill.
Much prefer going up it to coming down.
I like the same sort of thing on the M62 just before J22 (sowerby bridge) where you have the extra lane, great fun.

if you want to see somewhere fun to use the sennie's grunt to embarrass the wannabe boy racers.....  check out Rhuallt hill on the A55 coast road in north Wales.

start at the bottom doing 70....  accelerate rapidly up it, going over the top at xxx mph....   ...

takes the smiles off the faces of the majority of other drivers !

especially as it includes some fairly wide sweeping S curves on the way...

LMAO not just me that loves that hill then!
Im only a short distance from there.
