O2 bank2 sensor 1

Hi all
So I’ve got this slight misfire
The car is showing these errors 0150 and 0155
So which sensor is this
Is it passenger side closest to engine

And are the o2 sensors interchangeable
I’ve got some old ones in the garage I’m thinking of trying them out

Bank 2 is the nearside bank. IE the even numbered cylinders.
Sensor 1 is the upstream sensor in the downpipe. IE the sensor before the cats and is nearest the manifold.

Assuming this is a Y26SE or Y32SE engine the fault code suggests that the heater in the sensor is kaput. Check the connection to the wiring loom. Lambda sensors have a limited lifespan, so it might need to be replaced. These Bosch sensors are not outrageous on price.

The downstream post-cat sensors are notionally a different model to the upstream pre-cat sensors which are used to trim the fuel mixture. So you could try one of your old sensors, if it's the same. But if it's old it's probably worth renewing.

I assume your EML light is on?

as far as i know all the sensors are physically and electrically identical bar the cable length .so if you can get the old sensor out (which you would need to anyway) no harm in trying one if you have one. as mentioned they arnt overly expensive new once you have confirmed fault.

This suggests both front sensors... Which points to a common fault.

First check should be the loom between the ecu and plugs ;)

Why so? Theee's no mention, thus far, of Bank 1 Sensor 1.

yes eml light is on
Would this cause a slight misfire
As it seems to be hunting Slightly  at idle

Poor idle would be consistent.

I wouldn't expect a misfire. And if there were misfires there would hopefully be a fault code. But maybe not.

For misfires the usual suspect is oil and or water in the spark-plug wells. Pull the ignition modules and check.
