Another issue showed up, there's nothing coming out from left rear door speaker. No sound, tried multimeter - right wiring ok, left still giving no voltage. Where have I lost it? Any suggestion?

I made this yesterday, changed door panel a bit just to fit new front speakers. I hope it looks good but I would like to know if anyone tried something like this? Any disadvantage of this system of fitting speakers? I hope it doesn't look too cheap  http://www.turboimagehost.com/album/47691/speakers

Mp3's impedance output must be a bit higher because it's connected on amplifier's output (on input it would couse heavy distortion) but it works nice . Like originally made, really 8-)

Could...., but I prefer improvising if I can. And after all it's unique now :)

Didn't take more pictures of procedure couse I was too much into it. Made a hole into empty switch on the right put aux input into it, pulled the cabels from the radio and that's it

I connected left audio signal, right and ground to an output pins of TEA0675 inside the radio (amplifier and dolby filter for cassette signal). Works beautifully, no extra cassette noise, clear sound

Oh and there was nothing in the tailgate door. I made the box and adjusters for speakers of this size myself, maybe it wasn't good idea after all... :-/

The speakers were original and they were in the back doors, I just  replaced cables and pulled them into the tailgate door. Those new 170mm were in the front doors and playing really nice,  now they are connected to the rear speakers wiring and they seem to play only middle tones. If I'm right, radio output for backdoor speakers plays only middle tones. At least it's my explanation

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / ccr600 question
« on: 24 April 2011, 12:53:37 »
Hello, I still have philips ccr600 fitted in a dash, but I replaced speakers with new. Now I have 165mm in front doors and two  170mm in the fifth door (it's an estate). The speakers in the front doors sound great, but in the back they don't have that power, barely hear basses. Is the line out for back speakers adjusted for 130mm midlle tones as were original? Should I amplify the signal for speakers in the back?
