5V for Pure Highway in 2.5TD
« on: 15 May 2009, 16:51:41 »

The Pure Highway DAB radio unit / aerial installation as suggested in the fitting instructions is reasonably tidy. But the power supply hanging from the cigar lighter is horrible. I want to install a 5V supply somewhere unobtrusive.

Anyone have any good ideas for a good place to take the 12V supply from, and a good place to hide the 5V supply module?

Cheers

Most of my stuff is up behind glovebox.  There is a good 0v tag, and plenty of w-contact and 12v to choose from around there. Easier still if your car has the phone prewiring, is the power comes out of plug there!  Remember to use a suitable inline fuse though.
