We are all aware of the story of Noah and his Ark which was meant to have happened in Biblical times except it was recorded on a clay tablet in 1800BC, 1000 years before the writing of the old testament. The tablet was found in 1872 as part of an archaeological excavation of buildings of the Assyrian Empire. IS are busy destroying the remains of these very old cities in Northern Iraq.

There was so many things from which we could have learned so much.Sadly over history so many empires/regimes have set to and destroyed so much of what went before in order to strengthen their position,IS seem to be no different in this regard and it is such a great shame that so much has been and no doubt will continue to be lost to the world.

As such the world , led by the Arab league should eradicate them. Instead they are being nurtured financially and being allowed to prosper.
