I thought it was only valid for a couple of years, but I must be confusing it with something else.
According to this it's valid until the holder is 70.

I think your Theory pass is only valid for a certain amount of time, but the provisional is valid until 70..

Okay
Thanks lads  :)

Its for my lad tbh.
He is 18 on the 24th October but only looks about 14 so needs some sort of identification card sorting out.
Sadly, the only ones that are reconised everywhere are the driving license or a passport

There is this as well http://www.pass-scheme.org.uk/for-young-people/
 :y
We get a lot of youngsters visiting the pub, some are legit others try it on....big time! (Using older siblings ID, the taxi drivers on here will know all about that one! ;)).
Just last weekend a colleague who run's a pub in town caught 11 underage girls (aged between 14 &16) with fake ID, even fake driving licenses!
And they were absolutely mullered!
It's a licensee's nightmare, because the local council's and Police send them in to try it on, talk about entrapment!
We try to encourage 2 forms of ID, some slip through, it is an absolute nightmare, even had parents shouting and swearing when there kid isn't allowed in :-\
Any way the point is, even if they have legit I.D, it still does not guarantee entrance will be granted.
Happy Birthday to Junior :y I hope he enjoys his first "legal pint"  ;) ;)

Yep, there was a limit on it moons ago, 1 or 2 years from memory, untill you took a test, must have changed when the theory thing came out.  ;)
