Omega General Help / Re: trans problem
« on: 07 January 2013, 16:59:03 »
I drive it in 3 because i don't want it to be shift in to fourth when high-speed driving trough curvy mountain roads(where i mostly drive it),this way i can engine break when i need to. For city i drive my 2.5 dti 5 speed auto and i drive it i D all the time.
Any way, changed the ATF gaskets on the two sumps, cleaned the magnet on the main sump. I poured in about 5.3L of ATF,although it tells 4.4l in AutoData, it was not enough.
My uncle owns an Opel repair shop and a parts store, i work there part time,so it is not a cost for my to do anything on my cars, but we don't have a clue about automatic transmissions. I will see how the omega drives after the trans oil change and post it here. P.S.Tech3 did not read any errors. Thanks for your advices.
