Title: knocking noise

hi guys.

also have a newly developed knocking coming from the rear of the car only apparent on pulling up hills.

any suggestions welcomed.

thanks chaps what would I do with out you guys.  :y

At a guess, with it being connected with inclination..... loose baffles inside the exhaust springs to mind

Don't ignore checking for broken exhaust hangers either 👍

would also check the handbrake pins, also usually do it when driving over a pothole or bump in road.

I have loose baffles in a catalyst section, but they rattle when at idle. A knocking when going uphill suggests a moving component. Have you changed any wheels recently? It could be loose wheel nuts, or a balance weight touvhing something.
