I don't mind who supplies the lens cover as long as it doesn't uneccesary inconvenience anyone, but I really require it soon.

Thanks that sounds like a plan. Will have to look up how to change the lens but it hopefully is not that difficult. I haven't got a hairdryer, not used one for years ha ha, but my wife has one. A suitable amount of beer tokens will be donated to yourself.

Cheers

Thanks

Mine is listed as a CDX but seems to miss the nice alloys and headlight washers, which makes me think they are just standard.

Mine is a lot worse than the one shown in the maintenance area.

Yes you are correct there is a maintenance area with a fix, but mine is to far gone. Spent to much time on it already and it will fail it next MOT because of it.

Hello all,

The offside headlamp on my Omega has gone all hazy and unfortunately will not polish up no matter what I try to do. Really the only answer is to replace it. So if anyone has a headlamp offside in good condition for sale please contact me. The car is a 2.6 CDX but I think it is the standard lights as on the CD as no washer jets are fitted.

Cheers

I feel fortunate to live quite close to Bournemouth airport in fact very close. Every now and then I get to see some special aircraft flying low over my house  including  Concorde when it was flying, the Flying Fortress, Mustang, Red Arrows and various other aircraft. Most of the time I am just in the garden minding my own business then something interesting fly's over. Today it was two Spitfires and both Lancasters. Awesome sight and beautiful to watch and listen to. Bournemouth airshow next weekend so it should be a real treat.

Omega General Help / Re: Misfire

Thanks. Scuttle cleaned out, actually I removed the stupid rubber drain plug altogether as it was completely blocked and impossible to clean in situ. Reckon it is a bad design fault and better of without it. Changed plug and car running well again. No water on other side.

Cheers

Hello all
Code reader showed misfire on no2 cylinder. Removed the coil pack and found no2 plug swimming in water. Any ideas what could be causing water to get into the plug well please. Car is 2.6 v6.

Cheers
