Only thing I can see at the part of the block is a metal cylinder with a square hole at the bottom, looks part of the block?!?

Right side of block, near rear. Access via just behind nsf wheel, above the track rods.

If its the later type, its a disposable paper element inside a metal cylinder. Older types are the traditional spin on type...

Hi,

Im presuming the cylinder I see is the oil filter, the original one, its the same colour as the block, im not even going to try and move it, whoever had this car before has been taken for a ride, all the filters were manky and the air filter in the wrong way round, spark plugs were original, brakes are nearly gone, all the drainage holes were blocked, and its got a Full service history!!!! Last service done on the 8th December, what a joke.

Just shows that you can't trust some garages, unreal. :-?

The round cylinder, perpendicular to block, will contain paper element type filter...

FSH, NOT necessarily true anyway, I'd prefer to trust my general perception of a vehicle rather that some potentially false stamps / receipts, NOT being negative, just truthfull...  As I'm sure the guys on here will say, get that cambelt changed, water pump at same time and why not the aux belt too!!!!  Call it insurance..

Cambelt kit, waterpump, Aux belt and HBV are all ready too go on, Just need to find a reputable person up here to do the work, can't believe the amount of people who won't take it on, apparantly too much hassle?
