i understand that, but you need to look for 3.0/3.2s being broken, retail spec manuals are very, very rare. More chance of getting one from an x-police one

On the mini-facelift MV6, auto was standard, not an option

Nope!

Prefacelift & facelift 3.0 MV6 manuals around, it was an option. Only 3.2 was auto only.

Don't think i have seen a 6 speed manual fitted to any GM V6, R28's are rare enough as it is!

You best off sourcing a manual from an x-plod car
Saab has a 6 speed manual  :y

Vauxhall gearboxes are prefixed R for rear wheel drive (& longitudinal engine) or F for front wheel drive (& transverse engine). The number is the torque rating (in 10's of Nm)

The Saab is based on a Vectra so it will be front wheel drive and have an F28 gearbox.

I didn't know that Saab did an AWD version. If it is like the Volkswagen the drive to the rear wheel s will be taken from the back of the crown wheel of a FWD gearbox via a viscous coupling.
