TBH the last year has seen an explosion in food delivery services, FFS you can even get McD's & Greggs delivered! Who the hell would want that?

But really if anyone actually thinks about it, the supplier has to make money, the delivery service has to make money, and the customer expects 5* food and service for peanuts. It ain't gonna happen. It's like people who fly Ryanair and think that they're BA 1st Class. Nope.

For the cost of most delivered take aways, I can do a cracking, quick 'n easy dinner, with some foresight to get stuff for the freezer.

I see "Just Eat" and I instantly think "crap food".

I understand that, but locally it seems if we order direct the food is cheaper and delivery charges are different to the just Just eat prices.

Me thinks tax & vat differes on how you buy your food

Ohhhh....that is below the belt, Sir Tig. I believe the 'shelled rodent' cost him half a Boxster. Surely it would have been cheaper to win one at the funfair.
