I am interested in this subject. I love xenon. It is forbidden for old cars here, but many use it, because there are still roads, streets and avenues with bad pavement. I use Philips Diamond Vision lamps in low, high and fog lights. The possible option to legalize until 2021 are leds. Is it true that there are leds for headlights without a projector?
There is no end of junk available from China that will fit anything.  I bought some H7 late last year for 5GBP a pair (not to use in a car - long story) that would work well without projectors (though being Chinese, no idea how long they would work, or how good they actually are in cars).

Obviously, you may have local legalities that may or may not be enforceable in your country.

I haven't seen the result of an adaptation of leds in the headlights of an Omega A yet. Perhaps at the next meeting of the Clube do Omega MG, March 29, I will see. I intend to use Philips, Osram or K2on leds and legalize them before 2021, when changes in lighting will be prohibited here.

I never used xenon in the headlights. Only in fog lights, 4300 or 3000K and illuminated the imperfections of the pavement very well. It is a constant concern when you use rim wheels 20 and profile tires 35.  ;D ;D ;D

Take a look here, they have good stuff and now offer LED's for Low Beam with Projector lenses.
I have bought my LED's from this place.

You have to pay for good stuff. £85 is about SEK1000

An electrician friend, who does all the maintenance on the electrical part of my cars, told me it will be fine. However, I have already read that it will not work due to the slots in the glass lenses and I will blind other drivers.

I contacted a friend, who works at the Traffic Department in our city, to include the turbo and ethanol in my car document. He informed me that the LEDs can no longer be legalized in the main headlights around here. As the country is a Federation, there are States that allow it and others that no longer allow it. It was great to have connected, before buying the 6 LEDs! I saved a considerable amount of money.
