I mentioned yesterday that there was no fresh meat in Asda. Out with doggie this morning, I got the distinct impression that there were less ducks in the park this morning.
Any connection?  :-\

looking out of the window, I see the pair of mallard on the pond and two cock pheasants in the field,
there is a wood half a mile away full of rabbits and bambi,
Im covered thanks

You'll be in competition with a lot of people. If you live in the vicinity of Bradford, you may end up in a curry.

Oh, the irony. Nothing to be had in the supermarket and BBC1 are showing Ready Steady Cook shortly.  ::)

Just watched the Donalds latest press conference. God, he's ineffectual. The usual dose of 'tremendous' and 'very, very', but with no substance at all. He said very little of note and then Mike Pence stepped up and, under orders, used the phrase 'The President' in every sentence, just in case we forgot who was in charge. I was embarrassed for him.
As soon as Donald spoke, he referred to 'The Chinese virus', knowing full well it would infuriate them.

On the way home from swmbos hospital appointment today (on quite roads) we called into four different supermarkets to try and get some basic non perishables.
The shelves looked like they had been stripped bare by locusts overnight, and they were all limiting the purchase of any items to a maximum of two.
