If they're monitoring your posts on OOF, then you clearly have bigger things to worry about than Batflu :D

....
not that ANY of the UK statistics mean diddly squat ,because they have been massively under-reported due to only using "in hospital" cases and not testing an equatable group , ...
That question was asked yesterday at the daily briefing. Answer given was that other countries are only reporting hospital deaths so we are comparing like with like .....  :-\ :-\
I'm NOT arguing with you sir BUT...
that's like saying we are counting who shops at tesco , it doesn't tell us how many people are out shopping altogether .
how many are dying in care homes,at home, hospices, etc etc

surely in this day and age with all the technology , we can count  ;D

Just saying what was said ....  ;) ;)

Obviously the powers that be  are monitoring my posts closely  ;D :D
on the telly box now they are releasing "death in care homes figures etc "
90.2% in hospital (up to 2nd April)
406 died elsewhere
136 died at home
33 in hospices
217 in care homes
20 "elsewhere"
with time-lag in reporting

Chris Whitty did say the ONS had other figures  :y :y

Yes. But I noticed the local dog groomers was open when I passed today, along with a few others that have been closed. Apparently the local councils are now allowed to give permission to open, provided the set of rules issued are followed.  :-X

There is no way this particular groomers could possibly follow those rules  :-X

I also noticed that, especially this afternoon, there were lots more people about....lots more. And not a policeman to be seen. Sounds to me like the lockdown is being eased.....but not officially.

Notice on our local area news website yesterday advised that the Police have noticed an increase in vehicles using our bypass (A16) so will be stopping and questioning if it is an essential journey being made. Be interesting to see where these Police appear from.

Dominic Raab, "The lock down will remain in place for at least three more weeks."

Laura Iamaretard Kuntzenberg, "Can you give the British public an idea of how long this is likely to go on for?"

I can't believe she is stupid.  Lazy, yes.  But I think its an indication of the audience the BBC are aiming for when they think "this is what the British public want answered".  ie, the thick, trailer trash, Knobenders watching, waste of space part of society.

She must be, because that was genuinely the first question after the briefing today.
