Contagion is now on netflix i think  :-\
https://www.netflix.com/gb/title/70185071?source=35
i watched it on ITV2
also available to rent or buy on SKY

if you haven't seen it ,well worth a watch  :y
It's downloading now. £3.49 to scare the shit out of the wife, well worth the money  :)
I hope you like it  :)
and I hope you put newspaper down Uncle Stemo  ;D
considering it was released 9 years ago , it's frighteningly like the current situation  :-X
Life imititing art. Or is it the other way around? I can never tell  ::)
are you suggesting time travel is possible  :-\ or confirming what everyone knows ,that it was released deliberately  :P

I will let you know once I have watched it... Then again I may have to watch Outbreak immediately afterwards just to see what the monkey has to say on the matter ;)

Waiting for the next 24 to be released...

That said, watching Kiefer Sutherland run around chasing Batflu whilst the world shuts down is going to be a long 24 weeks :D

Ps the jam wasn't mine, and I never drop beer :P

Not enough Kate Twinsett, but I did enjoy the irony of the ending. Or rather, the beginning :D

When Contagion was shown again late march/early april , there where complaints that it was too close to the knuckle  >:(  (covid 19)
I said at the time, they should put it on TV constantly as a training video
maybe people would respect the lock down etc and how important social distancing etc really is
At the time the uk had 1000 deaths from Covid 19
Today ,4 weeks on,UK deaths are 21000
though probably 50,000 is a true figure  :'(

but I did enjoy the irony of the ending. Or rather, the beginning :D
except with covid 19 we know that close to the wet market was a laboratory working on Coronavirus
all evidence is gone now ,all whistle blowers silenced

If you don't buy the real reason that over 200,000 people are dead conspiracy theory ...

at least try and get this movie seen as much as possible  :y

because if a few extra people watch it and start being safer, social distancing ,washing hands etc

and passing on the message to a few more people  ,lives could be saved

I agree there are people just ignoring the warnings, some through total ignorance/misunderstanding etc, shame there’s no way everyone could be compelled to watch it,
Maybe they can then grasp the reasons for the lockdown.

Yes that is true.

I know one man who is 62, and a friend of mine, who is in the top 1.5 million who have been told to completely isolate. Has he?  Has he heck!! :( :(

He is down from London away from his home to be with his, one of many, girl friends ( >:(), to keep clear of the city's smog.  He has a severe respiratory illness, on very strong medication to keep him alive, blood pressure of over 230, but he is still circulating: going to the shops, mixing with people from different households, and living in an open house to all!! >:( >:( >:(

Just plain stupidity, arrogance, stubbornness, and a disregard for others.  He knows what I  and others think, but he takes no notice.

It has made me very angry and now I will not go anywhere near him >:( >:(

So yes, they are certainly amongst us and a danger to all :-X :-X :-X

I wonder if we’re going to see anymore mutations/effects of this virus? It is said we’ve never witnessed anything like this one, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s found there’s more of a sinister origin to it.

During the coronavirus update today, a member of the public was allowed to ask a question. Dai, from Wales, asked if, during the lockdown, it was okay for him to carry on having relations with his sheep friends.  ;D
