Quite dramatic for me. Not sure if tiredness makes it worse.

I'd expect all of them to cause an illusion of some sort, but not the top one. That's weird.

Each of them work very well.

The idea is to place the picture in the middle(ish) of your screen.  Look at it momentarily so your eyes take in the different patterns etc, then move your eyes around the image.  The image should appear as if it is moving.

Now stop looking around the image and focus back to the picture as a whole.  The image will slowly stop moving if your gaze is good enough.... or you might puke.

it reminded me of those pictures about 30 years ago that shops had in for you to look at. They had something fiendeshly complicated "hidden" within the picture. You had to jerk the picture around to make it stand out!
