I really dislike the trapezoidal exhaust tips that came as standard. I think they make the car look like a godless black smoke belching planet-destroying derv from behind.
Quite pleased with these 'chinky produced' but well made heavily chromed tips from the land of the slitty eye, which cost just £80 delivered. Bigger brand names were anywhere between £200-£400. |

To update my thread here...it was head gasket on UK driver's side, although the other gasket wasn't much better.
Owning an Omega takes an entire man, as you know. It cost me an arm and a leg to put her into state she is now, and I had to sell my kidney to pay for head gasket fix so....I'm just a pieces of a man I used to be now... For the first time I own Omegas there is no coolant leak But I like her, hopefully it will last 5 more years to be a proper oldtimer with minimal insurance and used only for summer sunday runs. Then I'll have to buy something else, but untill then I really like old faithfull barge. |
