I'm back!!
« on: 19 February 2015, 21:07:53 »

Hello again everyone!  :D

I'm very pleased to say that today I have agreed to buy an Omega, so I'll soon be back in the fold!  :y

I won't be collecting the car for a little while, as its a fair old trip, but I'm very much looking forward to getting my hands on her!

I've bought this car so that I can participate in a trans European car rally next year, so I'll have plenty of tinkering time getting her prepared.  Can't wait!

Good to be bad!  :y

To be honest Varche, I'm not sure.  The exactly route is a closely guarded secret.  What I can tell you is that it starts in Edinburgh and finishes in Rome, covers 4250 miles and takes 10 days!  :y

Could well be Al, what gave it away?  ;D

Well if it does and you need MFL parts, I have a garage full! Of course if it is a 3.2 then 4000 miles is a breeze . I suppose the only mods you will need will be a coolbox and power supply and a couple of ugly baby screens* (to keep the glare of the sun off you) ;D
* tea towels work just as well!

Thanks for the offer mate, but the chosen vehicle is a 2003 3.2 facelift model.  The most critical mod will be the CB, so we can have the crack with all the other crazy peeps on the rally!  :y

Sounds like a great laugh. As we all know, you get a lot of car for your money with a V6 Omega. Is there a spend limit for this event?

If you Elite an MV6, does that make it an MVee-leet?

There is mate, it's £500 which includes buying the car, and anything that needs doing to it to get it through an MOT, but excludes the actual cost of the MOT, Tax and Insurance  :y
