Seein as we're on a trip down memory lane, just seen this on fleabay

 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OPEL-SENATOR-3-0E-CD-1983-40-200-miles-Superb-condition-classic-luxury-saloon-/110870670802?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item19d0682dd2

Seems pretty tidy? Although I don't like the seat colour / material  :o

Coming from GM6 Spares it'll be a bloody good one too.
Derek is the man when it comes to the Senny A and Monza - some of his resto work is amazing!

Straight 6. Omega is built on the Senator / Carlton platform with the same suspension, steering, brakes etc. and they had straight 6 engines,so shouldnt be that difficult to put one in there.Twin turbo LC spec straight 6 six might be more of a challenge but its been done,so its not completely unknown territory.

It's been done alright, Omegatoy did it! CBA to find the link but it has been mentioned a few times. Left the badges on stating it was a 2.0........gave a lot of people a surprise!
