Given the list price of new cars the £30K for a top of the range Insignia is not "out of the way".Would I pay it?Absolutely not,but then if I had anything £10K upwards to throw at a car it would without a doubt 55have a Spirit of Ecstasy up front.

Isn't a top of the range Insignia more like £50k?

According to the invoice, my Omega Elite estate was over £30k, 17years ago.

£30,000 opens the door to a Pandora's box of expensive to maintain but desirable used motors.

Being irresponsible this is the route I have / would still take. :y

A £30,000 Insignia will be worth about half that within 18 months.

Just seen one at my local dealership looks remarkably like a Peugeot, don't like it one bit. Stick with my old Merc & keep my cash with Ernie.
