Just had to replace gearbox and transfer box on the Evo it ripped fourth gear apart 420+ bhp and 420+torque :-\

Is the gearbox of the 3.0 12V the same as the 3.0 24V?
I'm curious to know, if I decide to increase the power, kkkkkkkkk.
Forged gears are a bit noisy.

Yes. Spring strength dictates boost.

In my previous car, between the years 2000 and 2004, the first month, I tried to use regular gasoline at 0.8 and there was pre detonation. I switched to ethanol and used 1.8 bar. Some friends used between 2 and 2.5 bar without much problems, except the transmission gears, which broke kkkkkkkkk. Today this does not happen because there are good manufacturers of forged gears around here.

Unfortunately, wastgate lacked space, we were required to use pop off valve. Pictured above is near the upper left side of the radiator. You hear two sneezes. The pop off sneezes first.

Ethanol in Brazil you find in every gas station. Depending on the state costs between 30 and 40% less than gasoline. It's cost-effective, it cleans the engine inside, has more octane, you can use more turbo pressure and the engine runs cooler in the combustion chambers. Our regular gasoline has 27% mixed anhydrous alcohol, not recommended for pressure above 0.7 bar. Another option is premium gasoline, which costs twice as much as Ethanol. Long live the Ethanol, kkkkkkkkk!

The small reservoir with the brown cap at the top left of the photo is gasoline. Cold engine you press for 1 second a key on the panel (may be automatic system, but prefer the simple system), the start happens easily.

Since the launch of Omega in Brazil in 1992, I have dreamed of this car. In 2004 I finally bought one of the first models manufactured. Unfortunately it was not treated well by the former owner. In 2009 I was forced to rectify the C30NE block and headstock and as I use more for travel and tours, the engine is currently only 25,000 km driven. Before Omega I had other cars, but one of them, VW Apollo, had the brave AP 1.8 engine, which I had to prepare with turbo. In March 2019 I finally did another project: my dream car with turbo. Below the key scenes of the process:

TURBO HOLSET HX-35, 50/63:

PANDOO PRO INJECT PROGRAMMABLE INJECTION:

DISPLACED BATTERY FOR CARRIER:

REPLACEMENT OF WATER PUMP AND 12 BLOCK STAMPS, NOW ALUMINUM, MADE TO MEASURE:

EXHAUST COLLECTOR PURCHASED ON THE "CUSTOM" INTERNET THAT NEEDED TO BE MADE TWICE:

WASTE GATE VALVE PIPE HAS BEEN REMOVED AFTER THIS PHOTO, LACK OF SPACE:

PRESSURIZATION PASSES UNDER ENGINE:

WATERCOOLER AND ITS COOLING SYSTEM:

IGNITION WITHOUT DISTRIBUTOR AND WITH 6 VW UP COILS:

C30NE TURBO:

PRO INJECT CENTER MOUNTED ON PANEL:

LAMBDA PROBE DISPLAY WIDE BAND FUELTECH:

ORIGINAL EXHAUST DAMS REPLACED:

NEW PAINT ENGINE COVER:

Engine, clutch, differential, transmission use original parts. Air conditioning, much needed in Brazil, was maintained. It is managed by the original injection, which works together with the Pandoo injection. The watercooler is very efficient. At low speeds, the intake air temperature reaches a maximum of 39 ° C, even on very hot days.

Internal fuel pump, 12 bar
65 lb / h injectors
Air filter K&N in box
1 bar pressure
300 HP
45 kgf
Fuel Ethanol

Newbie Welcome Area / HELLO FROM BRAZIL
« on: 07 October 2019, 15:24:49 »
Hello everyone,

My name is Luiz Vivas, I am from Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil. I have an Omega CD 3.0 92/93 for 15 years. This year I undertook the project to install turbo kit on the C30NE, making this wonderful car even more enjoyable to drive. I am one of the founders of the Omega MG Club, which brings together passionate Omega and Suprema (Omega Caravan) from all over the country. I hope to learn a lot from you all. Sorry for Google Translate.
