Apple charge 99p a month for 50 Gb.
Which is starting to take the piss for such a misery amount of storage, it was justifiable just for the convenience at the old 79p...
It doesn't make me miserable.

HS2 (lack of) work at Hartwell A418 near Aylesbury causing massive tailbacks has pissed me off. They appear to be using traffic lights just so they can park their lorries on the road, as there is nothing going on between the lights apart from parked lorries.  ::)  Oh, and one of them must have leaned on his shovel too hard as a pipe is now pissing water all across the road just past the traffic lights.
All this fuss over one tree at Sycamore Gap, HS2 cut down hundreds of trees in this area for their big white elephant.

HS2 (lack of) work at Hartwell A418 near Aylesbury causing massive tailbacks …….

Even the local council are pissed off with them and filed a complaint to HS2, and their response was,
‘In response to the council’s complaints regarding HS2’s inconsiderate use of temporary traffic lights a HS2 Ltd spokesman said: “HS2 takes its responsibility to impacted communities very seriously, and we try to minimise disruption wherever possible’.

That complaint was in April 2022 and yet the lights are still popping up there. Gives you an idea of how serious they took that complaint.   ::)  ;D

We’re all collectively suckling at the nipple of defeat, an uprising with a magnitude never since the creation of this world is needed to even shore up what little of humanity is left on this poor ravaged planet we are presently squandering.

It's no better here.  The A43, a main dual carriageway link between the M40 and M1, is suffering narrow lanes and speed restrictions for 2 years to allow a compound to be built near it, because too much common sense would have been required to move the compound 30 yards further away from the road.

Oh, and Rishi has pissed me off for not having the balls to cancel HS2 Phase 1.

Still, seeing as Phase 1 needs to carry 576,000 passengers a day to "break even" (which translates to 50-60% subsidy per fare, which is the rail industry's idea of breaking even), yet across all of Avanti's network and all of Chiltern's network only carried 100,000 a day pre pandemic...   ...and the number wanting to travel between central Brum and central London is 3 parts of cock all, I predict it will be closed in a decade after opening (which is due for 2042).  Great use of tax payer money.

What's the sense of arriving at your destination a few minutes quicker. You'll only lose it all again queuing for a piss when you get there.  ;)

Mrs TB got a bus to Oxford yesterday, as wasn't too complimentary about public transport around there - and being a "progressive" city and banning cars, it has supposedly good public transport.

She couldn't use the train, because Oxford station is closed for about 20 years whilst they rejig the platforms and build a new station (Reading did a much bigger job, but still kept trains moving?), and the buses we just not turning up.

I think she is slowly learning, if you can't drive there, don't bother.

Oxford ……….don't bother.

Quote ^ shortened for those that have never been to Oxford.  :y  :)  Oxford shops are closing down daily but the good old Council do their utmost to deter drivers from going there.  ::)

The 'saved' money that could be spent on the roads will be pissed away buying off those who had their snouts in the HS2 trough.
